I picked a Charger for my laptop so I could see how much power my laptop used.
My laptop used 80 W ( When it is switched) when I just plugged it in for a few sec. So if it was plugged in all the time for an entire year, it would cost my 2080 kr

I have also picked a toaster.
My toaster used 650 W ( When it is switched) When I just plugged it in for a few sec. So if it was plugged in for an entire year, it would cost my 8900 kr.

I have also picked my Tv.
My Tv used 350,1 W on 2 hours ( When it is switched)
and 4736 kr it will cost in a entire year.

And my lamp i also picked.
On 2 hours and 22 min. my lamp have used 84 W.
and 1131 kr. if it was plugged in for an entire year.

I have of course also picked my lovely computer.
and 1276 kr. in a entire year.

Ouch! That realy is a lot. And do you have your charger plucked in the entire year? Even though I have a laptop too, I actually use it as a stationary computer and have the charger plugged in all the time. Perhaps I should stop having it plugged in all the time.

What did you learn from this measurement, and what other measurements do you have?
